Message from the President
Dear friends of Diveheart:
One of the greatest rewards in training instructors to work with disabled divers is to see them become passionate about a program of their own.
Diveheart has just concluded H.S.A. ( Handicapped Scuba Association ) training with seven Divetech http://www.divetech.com instructors at Cobalt Coast Resort in Grand Cayman BWI .
These instructors are now prepared to work with a variety of disabilities and will make Divetech unique in having the most H.S.A. certified instructors in the Cayman Islands .
The Divetech instructors haled from South Africa , Canada , the United Kingdom , Grand Cayman and the U.S. , and several expressed interest in developing programs in their local areas when they return home after their stint in Grand Cayman .
A little closer to home in the U.S, instructors Chris Cote and Kevin Vaughn have taken their passion for working with divers with disabilities to another level.
After completing Diveheart H.S.A. training a few years ago Chris and Kevin focused their passion on working with youth at risk and started SCUBA ETC .....
Here is their amazing story..
