Adaptive Scuba diving Trips

Find Adventure, Therapy, and Connection Beneath the Surface on Diveheart Adaptive Scuba Diving Trips

Diveheart adaptive scuba diving trips bring together certified divers of all abilities to experience the freedom, adventure, and healing power of the underwater world. These trips provide a supportive, inclusive environment where adaptive divers, buddies, and volunteers can grow skills, build confidence, and form lasting connections—both in and out of the water. Whether it’s your first ocean dive or a return to a favorite destination, every Diveheart trip is an opportunity to “Imagine the Possibilities.”

To ensure the safety and well-being of all participants, Diveheart requires that any traveler who needs hands-on personal care—whether for hygiene, medical, or other personal support—must be accompanied by a dedicated Personal Care Provider.

For safety reasons, a Personal Care Provider cannot also serve as a dive buddy during the trip.

Arranging and securing a Personal Care Provider is the responsibility of the traveler. Diveheart may be able to assist by providing resources or guidance upon request. Please note that deposits are required for both the traveler and their Personal Care Provider.

Personal Care Includes:

  • Assistance with dressing, hygiene, and bathroom use
  • Administering medications
  • Managing wound care
  • Help with getting in and out of bed or moving about
  • Receiving at-home nursing or medical care such as catheter, ostomy, or intravenous care, performed by a licensed or certified individual
  • Providing physical assistance or evacuation support during emergencies

All adaptive divers are required to obtain medical clearance from a physician and submit RSTC form before participating in a Diveheart trip. This ensures each diver’s safety and confirms they are medically fit to dive.

All divers, including adaptive divers, dive buddies, and guest divers are required to carry diver accident insurance for any Diveheart trip. This provides essential coverage in the event of a dive-related incident. If you don’t currently hold a policy, Diveheart recommends Divers Alert Network.
