After seeing how much snow skiing helped boost the self-esteem of his daughter, who is legally blind, Jim Elliott decided to use his sport of choice — scuba diving — to help others with illnesses and disabilities. Through Diveheart, which he founded in 2001, Elliott has introduced thousands of people to the health benefits of scuba diving.
