the Diveheart Experience
Diveheart is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing adaptive scuba diving programs for children, adults, and veterans with disabilities. Since 2001, our programs have offered both physical and psychological therapeutic benefits, helping participants discover new possibilities.
The weightless, forgiving environment of the water creates a gravity-free space where participants can move freely and experience a sense of equality and empowerment.
Diveheart seeks to help its participants “Imagine the Possibilities” in their lives.
Diveheart works with individuals who have a variety of disabilities including:
- physical & developmental disabilities
- vision & hearing impairments
- Amputations
- traumatic brain injuries
- Spinal Cord Injuries
- Paraplegia and Quadriplegia
- Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and more.
