A Cherokee High School student is using a required project as a way to give back to others.
Jack Wareham is organizing an event to allow Cherokee County special needs residents an opportunity to scuba dive with trained volunteers.
The event will be held noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, March 22 at the Cherokee County Aquatic Center. The event is part of Jack’s senior project, an initiative the Cherokee County School District requires to expose graduating seniors to potential career paths.
