Diveheart named finalist in 2022 Sharecare Awards
Diveheart competes for Sharing Care Award, open for public voting through July 12, 2022
Downers Grove, IL – 07/05/2022– Diveheart announced today that its documentary, “Adapting to Dive and song “Take a Dive” were named finalists in the 2022 Sharecare Awards, which celebrates and elevates the year’s best digitally driven programs and content that promote health and well-being. As a finalist, Diveheart also is a contender for the Sharing Care Award, a special honor bestowed upon the finalist that receives the most votes from the general public.
The award-winning documentary, “Adapting to Dive”, follows filmmaker, David Marsh, on a transformational journey after losing his son to an opioid overdose on Thanksgiving Day, just one week before he was to join the non-profit group Diveheart on an adaptive scuba diving trip to Cozumel Mexico.

Diveheart’s song “Take a Dive” has a strong message for anyone facing life’s challenges. The uplifting melody and inspirational lyrics encourage listeners to dive in.
Diveheart is one of 59 finalists competing to win the Sharing Care Award, and the public is invited to help select the winner by voting at www.sharecareawards.org/voting between now and Tuesday, July 12, 2022. Content from all finalists can be accessed on the voting site, where only one vote may be cast per person, per category each day of the voting period. Winners will be announced during a virtual celebration in October held across social media platforms.
